Arsene Wenger PRANKED Into Congratulating Former Player

George Weah, the 3 times African best player of the year and Ballon d’Or winner is vying for the President of Liberia and Zambia Observer has reported that he has successfully taken over from the out-going president, Ellen Johnson who is the first female President in Africa. He is currently a serving Senator in Liberia.
51 year old ex striker has failed in his previous 2 attempts to take over from the outgoing President and this year after various campaigns and cry for change, it seems he might be the favorite. He contested the elections with 20 other candidates and the results will be officially announced later on today, 12th October, 2017 as the votes are still being counted, Daily Mail has said.

Arsenal coach, Arsene Wenger upon hearing various reports that George Weah has won the elections, has congratulated his former player. “I would like to congratulate one of my former players, who became President of Liberia, George Weah. It’s not often that you have a former player who becomes a president of a country and so well done Georgie and I would say just fro him to keep his enthusiasm and his desire to learn and to win“.

George Weah and Arsene Wenger bonded during his time at Monaco. He has always had praises and great admiration for the coach and when he was voted as the FIFA World Player of the Year, he dedicated his award to him.

George Weah is the first and only African to win the FIFA Ballon d’Or. He won it in 1995 the same year he was named FIFA World Player of the Year.  The 51 year old Senator is also a 3 Times African Player of the Year(1989, 1194 and 1995). George Weah played for PSG, AC Milan and AS Monaco before moving to England to play shortly for Chelsea and Manchester United.
