The Cavaliers draw us back in love with them and hit us again with yet another lose and now its hard to tell if they would be a side to watch out for in the playoffs.
Cleveland Cavaliers lost to 5th place Atlanta Hawks by 125- 126 on Sunday. Despite knee injury, Kyire Ivring managed to play 45 minutes and scored 45 points and LeBron James had a triple double with 32 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists before he was fouled.
The Hawks gave the Eastern Conference leaders a gruesome night by coming from behind and beating them with a point difference. These type of loss is the kind that draws a knife through your neck. The Cavs were ahead with 26 points and it was shocking to watch them slip their lead to the Hawks.
They lost again to Miami Heat on Monday in the absence of Kyire Ivring, Tristan Thompson and LeBron James who were rested for the game. Kevin Love scored 25 points, Deron Willaims came up with 35 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds with Chunning Frye and Kyle Kerver covering up with 21 and 18 points respectively. Tyler Johnson led Miami heat with 24 points and Hassan Whiteside added 23 points to fry the Cavaliers.
To maintain Top Eastern Conference Seed, they would have to win against Toronto Raptors on Thursday since they are currently tongued with Boston Celtics but with LeBron to miss the line up against the Raptors per Coach Tyron Lue, they are in for more trouble.
LeBron James identified what their weakness was but they have still not worked on it and Kyire is also sobbing about the same thing. This loss to the Hawks and Miami Heat is unacceptable and LeBron shouldn’t be blames for it, because they have the guys for the job. They are trying hard but they just can’t seem to stop their opponents and it seems their lack in that aspect goes all the way to the locker room.
