National Security under Threat after Manchester Terror Attack: Chelsea cancels Victory Parade, Arsenal cancels FA Cup screening.
Chelsea would pick a double trophy this season if they are able to beat Arsenal in the FA Cup Finals after having a fruitful season that rewarded them with the Premier League Title.
The Club decided to have a victory parade in celebration of their 5th Premier League Title victory but the terrorist attack that happened on Monday at Manchester Arena at the Ariana Grande‘s concert has made the club to forgo the parade.

“In light of these tragic events, we feel it’s inappropriate to go ahead with the victory parade in London on Sunday. Given the heightened security threat announced by the government, and recognizing that this is a developing situation, we have given this careful consideration.” the Club said in it’s statement.
The Players observed a minute of silence during training for the victims of the attack.
“Everyone associated with Chelsea FC offers our heartfelt condolence to those affected by Monday’s terror attack in Manchester. Our thoughts go out to all the victims and their families and friends”. The Club in it’s statement also said that they would make donations to a fund that has been set to support the victims.
Arsenal cancels FA Cup Finals Screening.
Arsenal FC have also cancelled their FA Cup Final screening to be held on 27th May following the Monday terror attack. The Prime Minister announced that the nation’s security was still at threat and that influenced Arsenal’s decision to cancel the screening.
