Dwayne Wade was a free agent at the end of the 2017 season and LeBron James who relished playing with him disclosed that he talked to him the whole summer and tried to reach out to him to join them but the decision was to be made by Wade himself.

Boston Celtics traded Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder and Ante Zizic to Cavaliers in exchange for Kyrie Irving and the inclusion of Dwayne Wade to the Cavaliers squad would dismiss their under-dog tag considering their current depth and that will make them top contenders for the Championship they lost to Golden State Warriors– an equally star- stud team during the 2017 Finals.
