Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho has expressed interest in Chelsea’s winger Willian Da Silva Borges but the Chelsea star insists he is happy at the Stamford Bridge.
He has had quite a wonderful season- in fact the entire Chelsea team have- and he hopes to stay with the Club and their spectacular manager, Antonio Conte. In an interview with Evening Standard, Willian waved off the rumors of joining his former boss, Jose Mourinho. “I have a contract with Chelsea until 2020 and I am very happy here. I have a great relationship with all the people that work at Chelsea and the fans too. They have been great to me since I joined”.
Last season’s Chelsea Player of the Year and Player’s Player of the Year has won 2 Premier League title with the Club and hopes to play again in the Champions League since they qualified after winning the league this season. ” Chelsea are back in the Champions League next season and I am looking forward to playing in it again. It is a big big target for us and we have to look to win that trophy next year” he added.
Last season under Jose Mourinho, the whole Chelsea team had a rough time and finished 10th in the Premier League which led to the sack of Mourinho. During those difficult moments that saw Eden Hazard at his lowest, the Brazilian shined for the team; a reason they didn’t slip into the relegation zone.
Earlier when the rumors surfaced, Willian expressed happiness about Mourinho being interested in him, but he insisted that he would stay at Chelsea. “I have a great relationship with Jose, but I am Chelsea. Of course when someone great like him is interested in you, then you are happy”.
