After 22 years at Chelsea, John Terry decided to move to the Championship in search of regular playtime. The retired England international has expressed his intentions to help Aston Villa back to the Premier League after they were relegated to the Championship last 2 seasons.

The former Chelsea captain was looking forward to his initiation and this time as the tables turned, he was the newbie who had to do the singing. “It will come back to bite me on the bum” he joked. “I’ve sat there many a time laughing at the initiation ceremonies. It will be really different for me. It feels strange but at the same time I’m excited” he said at his interview after being unveiled by the club.
