LeBron James To Leave Cleveland Cavaliers: These REASONS Are Enough For Him To BOW OUT.
With the season over, LeBron James‘ free agent status is the next in line for discussion as he has been linked with a move to Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers.
LeBron James’ stay at Cleveland Cavaliers is uncertain after his goal of defending their NBA Championship this year failed but certain issues might factor into his decision and that could see him leave to either Lakers or Clippers which are both in Los Angeles.
These reasons are just enough for LeBron James to walk away without regrets.
1. David Griffin’s sack
LeBron James is still saddened by the decision of Cavaliers owner, Dan Gilbert’s to part with their General Manager, David Griffin and from his recent outburst, it’s clear he wasn’t consulted and that’s like an open door for him to exit.
“It makes no sense why he shouldn’t get an extension. He’s pulled every move- he’s tried to make every move happen- to better the team to be able to compete for a Championship…” LeBron said to ESPN in an interview after the news came out.
2. Jerry West to Clippers
Jerry West was announced as Clippers consultant on Monday 19th June according to USA Today and readily they would be looking to get more quality players on board; with LeBron James coming top of the list due to their long standing relationship.
3. Off- court Business
James earns $55 million from endorsements and his off- court businesses including other projects he funds matter so much to him. . LeBron James has a foundation in Akron named LeBron James Family Foundation that kids and adults with educational initiatives and being closer all the time without waiting for the off-season would be much helpful to him.
4. His wife loves it in Los Angeles
Reliable sources have it that LeBron James’ wife Savannah loves living in Los Angeles and was not very happy when James re-signed for Cavaliers but eventually got on board in hopes that after he has done what he wanted to do for them (win the Championship) he would come live with them at home.
