Conor McGregor and UFC President Dana White announced that his (Conor) side of the deal was done and it’s now over to Floyd Mayweather to sign his.
Mayweather was at GervontaDavis‘s fight with Liam Walsh, one of the Walsh brothers to support the fighter. Gervonta is being promoted by Mayweather and after the bluff during the pre-fight conference, Gervonta put his money where his mouth was and defended his IBF junior lightweight title.
Conor McGregor in a twitter post suggested that Mayweather was scared if he doesn’t sign his end of the deal. Dana White gave Conor a deadline to sign the deal, which he has so the onus now lies on Mayweather and considering how long it’s taking him, Conor thinks he might be catching cold feet.
After the Gervonta fight, Floyd was certain his fight with Conor would happen but he just seems not in a hurry.” If he signed the contract, I am over here working, I am always working. When I get back to USA I’ll communicate with my team. I will call Al, I will get Al and Leonard on a business call and see what’s our next move. There’s no rush. When we do make a move, most likely it’s gonna be a huge move. You already know, when Mayweather fights it’s history” he told FightHype.
“The next time Mayweather fights- if I fight, which most likely I will, I need a planet” he added when he was as asked if Wembley would be big enough. There he goes with the hype again keeping us on the edge our seats while we await the fight.
Conor McGregor is also ready to prove everyone wrong for thinking he is no match to Mayweather. The MMA Irish fighter has dominated in his ring and this time, he is ready to fight Mayweather in a boxing ring to prove that he is worth the hype.
